Burn Notice
Tuesday, June 19th, 2007Do you know what a burn notice is? I didn’t until today, but a is an official statement by one intelligence agency to other agencies, domestic or foreign, that an individual or group is unreliable. USA Network’s Burn Notice, due to premiere next Thursday the 28th, is the story of Micheal Westen and his attempts to discover the reason he received a burn notice. The show stars , , and , and looks like an excellent choice for those who enjoy intrigue, espionage and action. The first episode will be commercial free (can’t beat that).
Now I’ve seen my share of 007 , and I’ve read Ludlum’s Bourne series as well. I’m thinking Micheal got burned because….he was under deep cover at some exotic locale and some hot little number ran off with his piece, after slipping him a mickey, and wreaked international havoc while wearing very little clothing at a high society party while dropping his name. Another agent at the same party decides he wants the girl, and tells the bosses that Micheal has been up to extra curricular activities. He’s fired before he’s even regained consciousness. Sound plausible? In truth I have no idea, but just because I am in the dark now doesn’t mean I have to stay that way! You can check it out at Burn Notice, and follow along as we find out the real reason Micheal got burned.

Celebrity Gossip
Tuesday, June 19th, 2007I visited a new site today that I thought you might be interested in. The site covers celeb gossip, and you’ll find all the hot names here. Celebrity Gossip gathers all the top stories, and then allows users to vote on them and leave comments. You do have to register to participate, but not to read. Registration pays off, however because of an interesting feature of the site that they call bonus points. You get points for registering and also for referring others. (No points are involved for this post). You can trade your points for magazine subscriptions, including People, Star and TV Guide to name just a few.
I like how the articles are set up on this site. You get a goodish paragraph, and then if something interests you, you can click through to read more. There are also links to related posts at the bottom of each article, and they all contain links to the original source as well. The authors have put together a clean, informative site, and they give credit where credit is due. That’s a beautiful thing.
Movie Trailers
Monday, June 18th, 2007If you enjoy flicks, I know you will enjoy this site. Apple has trailers (d’uh) which you can watch on the site, or download to your iPod. There are also links for official move sites once you click on the movie graphic. As a bonus, there are links to new soundtracks on the right hand side, about half way down the page. The trailers are free, the music is not.
