Spiderman 3

Saturday, June 30th, 2007

If you are thinking about seeing Spiderman 3, head over to Melissa’s blog and read her movie review. I could try to rehash what she said, but since she’s actually seen the movie, and I haven’t it, that would be cheating a little, wouldn’t it?

You know who’s hot? Richard dean Anderson, that’s who! Dh picked some episodes of MacGuyver on DVD a couple weeks go, and we’ve been enjoying introducing the children to the man who’s best weapon lies between his ears. Sigh. Yeah, I liked him back in the day, too.

What’s the deal with “media rooms” and such? And how do I get one? That would totally rock, wouldn’t it? Big ol’ tv that I can see across the room even with 40 year old eyes, comfy home theater seating, tremendous surround sound. Can you hear my envy? As an aside, I was at WalMart the other night, and they actually have a chart there to tell you what size tv you “need” for each room in the house. Yes, those huge 52 inchers are necessary for a family room.

You know what entertainment fiends need a lot of? Think about it. You’ve got your protable DVD player, your iPod, your remotes, and your other little devices and gizmos. And all of them need at least one battery, and some of them take multiples. Around here, we have 5 portable cd players, plus cameras, etc. We use rechargeables, and I pass a set out every day it seems. I bought 4 more just this week!

It’s actually a business solution. I’d try to explain it you, but I have to admit that my life is so far removed from business management, that I have no idea what most of those words mean.
