What do you think of stars advocating diet trials? I read a few months ago that some European countries are mandating that runway models carry a certain amount of weight. DO you think that the US market is ready to see models that look more like normal women? Do you think that it would help the self image problems so many of our teens have?

Real quick, tell me the top three egomaniac stars.

I’m thinking Tom Cruise, for sure. That man has surely gone into his dotage. He needs some diet pills for his bloated ego. And also some ritalin, because we don’t jump on the furniture here. Especially if we are over 40.

Next up is Prince, who used to be known as the Artist Formerly Known As Prince, but was Prince before that. Come on. Love the music, but that man is so full of himself it’s just plain scary.

And, let me see……..Paris Hilton. Because. Really. Who cares?

I read in the grocery store check out stand that the father of Anna Nicole’s baby had been identified. I was dubious at best, so I went to CNN when I got home, only to discover that Broward County Medical Examiner Joshua Perper wants to see Anna Nicole’s computer before he will release her cause of death. I’m tagging this felony stupid, because I don’t understand what her computer has to do with diddly squat when he’s already said foul play was not involved. Sounds to me that he just wants to keep his name in the news a few more days, especially as you read the article.

Hey, guys! Get some dna testing services already, and let the woman *and her family* have some peace. Quit capitalizing on her name, and think about her humanity.

How do you do family movie night at your house? Do you have such a thing? We have them every couple of weeks here. Do you pull out the sleeper sofas and make it a late-nighter, with the kids falling asleep watching, or do you plan ahead so the movie ends at bedtime? Both things happen here at different time. Well, except for the sleeper sofa part. We only have regular couches, so we sprawl out wherever.
