For the TV Impaired
Like me, LOL! The other night, just as I was ready to settle in and watch , the transformer in front of my house died in a glorious display of firework-like sparks. That was the end of the cable for a couple of hours. I was steamed, because I rarely want to watch tv, and then when I did I couldn’t. But I learned something that I am now sharing with you. Now, most of you probably know this already, but–you can watch tv shows on your computer! The major networks are now putting episodes on their websites! How cool is that? I had to wait a day, but I did get to watch the show I had missed.
For the more technically inclined, newer computers accept wee gadgets called, appropriately enough, s, so you can watch in real time. I’m not ready to go buy one, but the idea is intriguing.
