The Bourne Identity
After the girls saw The Bourne Ultimatum, and I told them there had been two prior movies, they just had to see them. I have to confess that Matt Damon was far too young in to be convincing as a secret agent. He really didn’t look a day over 16, and it was hard to believe he actually had the experience to do the job. Marie (Franka Potente), however, was totally believable in that hacked-off-hair-and-no-jewelry gritty heroine kind of way. The movie was good, though, and if you can get past that face-of-freshness, some would even say excellent. Especially if they were 12 and 14 year old girls.
