The Drive In Alternative

I was out getting my license renewed today, and I had to go by what used to be a drive in. I only went a few times in my entire life, but it was so fun, and it’s something I would love to do with the children, but you know what? Our drive in is now a flea market. Stinks, huh? A bunch of my friends were talking about drive ins the other day, and so I’ve been thinking about it, yk? I wonder if there is anyway to form some sort of grassroots movement to bring them back?

Of course, I suppose we could all get big screen TVs, a few silk trees and pretend to be outside, but it wouldn’t quite be the same, would it? Or we could just plug those huge TVs in outside. Hmm, come to think about it, that could be a cool idea for a summer party, doncha think? Most of them come with built in dvd players anyway. Hehehe, yeah, that could be cool.

We have a drive-in at the campsite that we go to every weekend. The kids just love it! As far as I know this is the only drive-in around this area.
